Below is a general overview of the precautions we are taking to protect against the spread of COVID-19:
At Above and Beyond we pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our building. Typical cleaning includes following all licensing regulations that require teachers to clean toys and disinfect the classrooms and materials daily. A professional cleaning company also disinfects our building every night. Below are additional precautions we are taking to prevent the spread of COVID:
Anyone with symptoms of COVID are not permitted to enter the building. Hand washing is done immediately upon entering their classroom, before and after sensory play, and meals. Hand washing is also required following outdoor play, entering a new classroom, sneezing, coughing, wiping their nose and using the bathroom.
Additionally, we require children to bring their own water bottle and disinfect all commonly touched surfaces multiple times a day. Each classroom has its own HEPA air filter and our children always spend plenty of time outside.
